Inventory Reports save time and effort by automating the inventory reporting process. This report provides a clear picture of inventory status and performance.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN: Make sure you expanded the Assets group and then selected the Inventory Report.

Data Grouping
Group the data by the attributes shown below:
This selection will cause the Asset Count / Miles by Asset Type chart and Inventory by Asset Type table to be grouped by the selected attribute.
Inventory by Asset Type
This table displays the inventory count and valuation for each asset type. When a data grouping is selected, the table's name changes to include the selected grouping. Additionally, the table expands to show the inventory count and valuation for each asset type and group combination.

The Asset Count / Miles by Asset Type chart displays differently depending on the grouping selected in the Data Grouping widget.

•Click a bar (or a section of a bar if grouped) to filter the report by that asset type (or group/type combination). You can only select one bar (or section of a bar) at a time. Click any of the groups under Group on the right side of the chart to filter by that group.
•If you right-click this chart, you get an option to Show as a table. This options allows you to see a full screen view of the chart with a corresponding table. Click Back to report in the upper left to return to the full report.
Asset Details
This table shows records for each asset and is filtered when categories are selected in the Asset Count / Miles by Asset Type chart or the Inventory by Asset Type table.
•To view one or more selected assets on a map, left-click to select the assets from the Asset Details table and then click the blue icon in the upper-right corner.
•To view records from this table in more detail, right-click on the desired row and select Drill through > Explore Asset Details from the pop-up menu.
•This opens a new Explore Assets Details page with detailed information about the attributes of the chosen asset.
•The following illustration shows what happens when you right-click a row of the Asset Details table with a Columbus Community value of Far South and a Street Name of Hendron Ct. NOTE: Click the large back-arrow icon in the upper-left corner of the Explore Asset Details page to return to the full report.
View Selected Assets on Map
•Select one or more records (assets) from the Asset Details table. NOTE: To select multiple records, hold down the Ctrl key while you left-click various records.
•Click the View Selected Assets on Map icon.
•Another tab opens showing a map with a pop-up dialog on top, indicating the number of features that will be displayed, based on the report specifications. NOTE: An error message appears if no visual data is available; you will not see a map.
•Close the dialog box to see the map. You may have to zoom in to see the selected features. NOTE: The map is limited to showing up to 10,000 of the selected records.
