You can add local data to the Map Viewer if the data is in one of the following formats:
•CSV (with latitude and longitude coordinates or a valid address location)
•GeojSON
•KML
•zipped Shapefile.
NOTE: KMZ files are not supported. A KMZ file consists of one or more KML files and optionally other support files packaged into one file. There are online resources that can expand KMZ files into its network of files exposing the KML files, which can then be loaded into AIMS.
There are three ways to add data:
•Add local data layers to the Map Viewer
•Add CSV point data with latitude and longitude coordinates
•Add CSV point data with an address field
BEFORE YOU BEGIN: If the layer you want to add contains CSV point data, you must identify the column(s) in the data file that contain ONE of the following:
•Latitude and longitude data. In this example, Long is the name of the longitude column and Lat is the name of the latitude column.

•Address data. In this example, STREET is the name of the address column.
